Lahore — In a major step towards a greener and cleaner Punjab, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched a province-wide free vehicle emission testing initiative. This campaign, aimed at reducing air pollution and promoting environmental awareness, has established 62 Emissions Testing Stations across major cities of Punjab.
Free Vehicle Emission Testing (ITS) is now available across 62 locations in Punjab.
Citizens can avail the testing free of cost by visiting their nearest Emissions Testing System (ETS) station.
The campaign is running from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.
Deadline for free testing: June 30, 2025.
This initiative is led by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Punjab, which encourages vehicle owners to get their cars and bikes tested to ensure they are not contributing to toxic air pollution.
